A spalted elm slab on 3/4” steel plate with a elm stretcher.
The elm slab was cut from a storm fell tree in Norwood, LA. The tree fell in a cemetery dated back to the early 1800’s and was supposedly once registered as the largest elm tree in the state of LA until Hurricane Gustav blew it down.
