Transforming Louisiana’s Urban Trees into Fine Furniture

Mid City Handmade is a custom furniture and woodworking studio located in New Orleans, LA. With a heavy focus on sustainability, we have been at the forefront of intercepting Louisiana's urban trees and transforming them into fine furniture since 2009.

Typically, city trees are thrown in the landfill or burned. Our custom sawmills and kilns allow us to process these historic trees into quality lumber and live edge slabs for use in commercial and residential spaces.

By keeping these trees out of the waste stream, we help to reduce our carbon footprint and fight deforestation.
